How much does it cost to send one fax online?

Shotfax is $1.99 for up to 5 pages, then $0.49 per additional page. One payment, no subscription, no account. Most services charge $6 to $19 per month, even if you only fax once a year.

Do I need an account to send a fax?

No. That is the whole point. Upload the file, enter the number, pay $1.99, done. No signup, no password, no email verification. Optionally enter your email if you want the delivery receipt PDF.

Why is my doctor still on fax in 2026?

Blame HIPAA, blame inertia, blame the cost of migrating legacy systems. You still have to fax them. That part is not going to change this decade.

Is it actually cheaper than the office supply store?

The UPS Store charges $1.99 to $3.00 per page. We charge $1.99 for the first five pages and $0.49 for each extra. You also do not have to drive anywhere.

Do you keep my document?

No. The moment Telnyx confirms the fax went through (or failed), the file is deleted from our storage. We keep a small job record (number, page count, time, status) for 90 days so we can refund failed sends. We never read the file.

What if it fails to send?

Automatic full refund within 7 business days, no ticket needed. The receiving fax machine has to confirm back to Telnyx, which it usually does in under a minute.

Can I send to another country?

Yes. Telnyx reaches 165+ countries. Use the +country format, for example +44 for the UK. International sends cost the same flat $1.99 base.

Is it HIPAA compliant?

Telnyx and our hosting can be configured for HIPAA, but the default service is not under a BAA. If you are sending PHI, email us first at povkonop@gmail.com so we set it up properly.
